Madden 21 Sim: New York Giants at Chicago Bears, Week 2 – Big Blue View

After one game, Madden is already 1-for-1 in predicting Giants games this season. In our previous simulation against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the game predicted a low-scoring affair won by Pittsburgh with little production from Saquon Barkley. Those predictions came true this past Monday.

Let’s check out how Madden 21 thinks the game will go this Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

For both teams, the game started really slow. The first four drives ended in punts, and Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky went 0-for-5 to start the game.

Finally at the very end of the first quarter, the Giants pushed into scoring position. Shortly after Barkley plunged into the end zone to put the Giants up 7-0. They would later add to the lead with a long touchdown reception from Darius Slayton.

Between the second and third quarter, a back and forth ensued. Anthony Miller caught a touchdown pass, only for Barkley to push the lead back to 14 at 21-7.

The Giants appeared to have the game in hand up 21-10 in the fourth quarter, until Tashaun Gipson picked off Daniel Jones. The Bears brought the game within one score from a long Miller touchdown reception at 21-16.

Thankfully, Golden Tate would cap off a long, time-wasting drive with a touchdown reception off a screen to put the game away officially. Jimmy Graham did score at the very end of the contest with no time remaining, setting the final score at 28-23.

Barkley was predicted to have a huge offensive day, going for 125 yards on 27 carries and two touchdowns. Slayton finished with three receptions for 72 yards and his lone score. Jones tossed two touchdown passes alongside his late interception. The pass rush also faired well, generating two sacks from B.J. Hill and Lorenzo Carter.
